The service

CricPlatz is an independent, non-commercial private beta that provides tools for cricket scoring, match and tournament organisation, team and player profiles, live updates, statistics, invitations and optional streaming. There are no paid plans, advertising or in-app purchases in this beta. These terms govern use of the CricPlatz website and app.

Accounts, organisations and authority

Keep account details accurate and protect access to your account. A person may create or administer a club, manage a team, approve membership requests, assign scorers, create or edit fixtures and results, start a broadcast, invite production participants, or publish club content only when authorised by the relevant club, organiser or event. A role does not grant ownership of another person’s or organisation’s content, and CricPlatz may request proof of authority or restrict disputed access.

Registration and age

CricPlatz is not available to children under 13. You must provide a truthful birth year. For security verification, CricPlatz may use a country of residence you provide and a temporary, coarse EU/non-EU estimate derived from the network request. The birth year, network address, country and nationality are not retained for this check; only the minimum age band and feature-access result are kept. An inaccurate result can be reviewed through support.

Users aged 13–17 who are based in the EU cannot upload profile or player photographs. Outside the EU, users aged 13 or older may use photo features subject to applicable law, consent and content permissions.

Scores, content and visibility

Only enter match information you are authorised to record. Before providing player names or photographs, team logos, match video or audio, or filming at a venue, you must have all permissions required from participants, clubs, rights holders and the venue. Where a minor is involved, the responsible organiser must obtain any legally required parental or guardian consent.

Teams start private until a manager publishes them, and player visibility follows the team. Player phone numbers, email addresses, account identifiers, permissions and administration data are never public. A public scheduled match may show teams, date and venue, while the Playing XI remains private until an authorised organiser publishes it, normally at the toss or match start. Tournament visibility is selected by the organiser and its matches inherit that visibility by default.

You remain responsible for photos, names, scores, stream material and other content you submit. Choose public, private or unlisted visibility carefully. Do not use CricPlatz to misrepresent results, impersonate others, invade privacy, harass, publish unlawful content, attempt unauthorised access, or scrape and republish service data without permission.

Prohibited content

You must not create, upload, stream, link to or share:

• content that infringes copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights, or for which you do not hold all necessary rights, licences and permissions;
• pornographic, sexually explicit, obscene or otherwise adult content;
• content that exploits or endangers minors;
• credible threats, instructions to harm, graphic or glorified violence, violent-extremist or terrorist content;
• hate speech, targeted harassment, bullying, stalking, doxxing, content promoting self-harm, illegal goods or activity, fraud, scams or malware;
• any other unlawful content or material that creates a serious safety risk.

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is strictly forbidden. It will be removed immediately, reported to the relevant authorities (including NCMEC and/or local law enforcement), and the account permanently banned. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and agree to indemnify CricPlatz against claims arising from it.

Live streaming & connected services

A broadcaster must deliberately choose whether a stream is public, unlisted or private and is responsible for the selected audience. A connected broadcasting service may transmit, record and retain live video, audio, stream titles, player names, score graphics, commentary, highlights and replays under its own terms. CricPlatz may display or control the connection but does not guarantee the connected service’s availability or removal process.

You must hold all necessary participant, venue, music, league, recording and media rights before going live or publishing a replay or highlight. Camera and microphone access is used only when you activate a feature that requires it. The broadcaster remains responsible for the stream and for everyone invited to contribute a camera or audio source.

Generated content and accuracy

Commentary, captions, translations, summaries, recommendations, predictions, statistics explanations and other automatically generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, misleading, biased, offensive, culturally insensitive, defamatory, mistranslated, mispronounced or otherwise unsuitable. Such output is automated and does not represent the views of CricPlatz, a player, team, commentator, club or organiser.

You must compare generated output with the official scorecard, competition rules and authorised organiser information before relying on or republishing it, and must not use it for betting, safety, legal, medical, eligibility or disciplinary decisions. Generated output does not determine an official result or decision. Report problematic output through in-app support or hello@cricplatz.com. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CricPlatz is not responsible for loss arising solely from reliance on unverified generated output. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Third-party information, weather and local listings

CricPlatz may surface third-party information such as weather forecasts and nearby shops, venues or places drawn from public map and data sources. This is shown for general convenience only. CricPlatz does not own, endorse, verify or guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, completeness, availability, pricing, quality or safety of such information or any listed business, and is not responsible for any decision you make or dealings you enter into based on it. Any transaction is solely between you and the relevant third party.

Reporting, takedown & repeat infringers

You can report content or block another user within the app. We operate a notice-and-takedown process: rights holders and users may report suspected infringing or unlawful content to hello@cricplatz.com, and we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to it. We may remove content, end a stream, and suspend or permanently terminate accounts at our discretion, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. As a neutral host of user-generated content and of links to third-party streams, CricPlatz is not responsible for content created, uploaded or streamed by users.

Availability, delay and recovery

CricPlatz is provided on an “as available” basis. Live scores, commentary, captions, statistics and stream overlays may be delayed, incomplete or temporarily inconsistent because of scorer input, broadcast delay, correction, device, network or connected-service failure. Networks and connected services may be unavailable without notice.

We use reasonable measures to protect and recover service data, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or recovery of every recording, draft, stream, score or match record. Users should verify official results and keep any independent records required by their club or competition. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Reviews, corrections and appeals

You may request review of a moderation decision, account suspension, stream removal or disputed score by emailing hello@cricplatz.com from the address linked to your account and identifying the decision or match, the reason for appeal and supporting information. Score corrections are reviewed by the authorised scorer, club or competition organiser; CricPlatz does not decide sporting disputes where an organiser has jurisdiction.

Requests are reviewed within a reasonable period appropriate to their complexity and urgency, subject to any time limit required by law. A reviewer who was not the original decision-maker will be used where reasonably practicable. One further review may be requested where materially new evidence is supplied.

Cancellation and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app from your profile. When deletion is confirmed, sign-in is disabled immediately and other users see “Deleted user”. Your personal and private account data is retained for up to 30 days after confirmation for security and abuse-prevention purposes, then permanently deleted or anonymised; the account cannot be accessed during that period. Historical match, tournament and score information may remain as an anonymised sporting record. You can also request deletion by emailing hello@cricplatz.com.

Ownership and contact
